Pulling a face at Adams Peak
Here I am descending Adams Peak (Sri Prada). It was hard going walking up and down the sacred Peak. That said there were some very elderly pilgrims doing the very same so I had no excuses.
You leave your accommodation in the small town of Dalhousie at midnight so you can reach the top to witness the amazing sunrise. It’s an unforgettable experience.
Adam’s Peak is 2,243 m (7,359 ft) high and there are over 5000 steps to the top. It’s hard going on the knees but well worth the effort.
